In the Information Age, we have the luxury of finding solutions to our problems within second of typing the question into Google’s search bar. All we need are Internet access, a connected device, and the knowledge of how to do a Google search.
Google has to make assumptions based on what they put into the search bar. Those assumptions are based on their algorithm, a set of rules that a computer program uses to determine relevance. Most people don’t ask the best questions of Google, so the search results can be a confusing mess to sort through.
